Reggie Riser-Maynard?
Reggie becomes part of the Maynard clan and
bucks tradition by deciding to change his
"maiden" name. The Risers could not be
reached for comment.

The bodacious Butlers
Lee Anna poses with her sister's family minus one (Brice was
in the nursery). They are, l-r, Julie, Trent, and Ben. Trent
is the news anchor, but the entire group should be on TV if you
ask this totally objective observer.

Some of the "original" Maynards
Lee Anna's dad, flanked by four of his siblings -- from l-r,
William, Carol, Harold, and Lafe.

George and Wallis
Reggie's father, George, relaxes with his wife Wallis
once his best man duties are over. The night before
they, with Reggie's mom Judy, threw a fantastic
rehearsal dinner.

Grandmother of the Groom
Reggie and his grandmother, Mabel (also known as Ma Ma),
prepare for their walk down the aisle. Ma Ma had the
distinction of being the only grandparent in the wedding
party, and we were so happy she was there.

There were high winds in the church that day...
Ben and his Aunt Lee Anna horse around before the ceremony.
They had to do this when Ben's grandmother Sandra was nowhere
around!

|
Ah, weddings -- the joy, the pain, the bills
Lee Anna's parents, Fred and Sandra, try to not think about
what all this is costing. Unfortunately, the effort
is futile.

Can you see the family resemblance?
Lee Anna and her father share a joke before the ceremony.
Don't ask what the joke was, because both of them are
notorious for forgetting all but the punchline.

Behind every successful man are many women
Reggie is supported (perhaps literally) by his sister, Kim,
his nephew, Josh, his mother, Judy, and his grandmother, Mabel.
|
|
Mother of the groom
Reggie and his mother enjoy a moment together prior to the
ceremony. SOME people didn't have to worry about buttoning
hundreds of tiny buttons and had time to just stand around
and smile.
